Hi Leute, das folgende hatte ich heute in meiner Inbox:
<!-- BBCode Quote Start --><TABLE BORDER=0 ALIGN=CENTER WIDTH=85%><TR><TD><font size=-1>Zitat:<HR></TD></TR><TR><TD><FONT SIZE=-1><BLOCKQUOTE>From the 6th-19th April 2003 The Big Read will allow book readers to
vote for their favourite book. We would love to ensure that Terry
appears in the top ten but having scoured the rules it could
jeopardize Terry's chances if we suggested voting for just one book.
The rules clearly state that mechanisms are in place to look for
organised voting. So please just take a couple of minutes to visit
http://www.bbc.co.uk/arts/bigread/form.shtml and make a single vote
for your favourite Discworld Novel.
This is the information as it appeared on The Big Read web site at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/arts/bigread/
The Big Read is the country's [UK] biggest ever celebration of the
magic of reading. We're searching for Britain's best-loved
fiction across television, radio, online and interactive services,
kicking off with a TV show when celebrities present their
favourite reads on 5 April.
We will then be inviting the nation to vote for their best-loved
book on the website or by phone leading to an announcement of the
Top 100 books later in the month. Over the spring and summer,
readers are encouraged to read and talk about their favourites.
Later in the year the Top 10 will be released and voting for no.1
will commence!
So, whether your own Big Read choice is an old favourite or a
modern classic, share your love of reading and get involved.
